Books That I Will Read in 2025. What’s Yours?
I read a Medium writing piece about books that the writer read in 2024, and I’m inspired to do the same.
Reading is one of my favourite hobbies, so it should be enjoyable and relaxing. That’s why I read more fiction rather than nonfiction. Nonfiction is too serious, and the formal cover does not help.
I started reading Enid Blyton’s The Famous Five series when I was young. Since then, I have read many books from every fiction genre available at bookshops and libraries.
As I mature, the type of books I read becomes limited and expands. I only choose fiction books that I know I will have a good time reading, and that’s very limited. I am also expanding my options on nonfiction books as I become more interested in personal growth.
Here are the books that I will read in 2025:
Murder mysteries “who did it?” style.
I’ve been a massive fan of Agatha Christie’s peculiar Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple since a young age. Trying to figure out “who did it?” was very enjoyable. I finished Richard Osman’s The Thursday Murder Club book series in 2024, and I’m looking at similar stories by several writers, such as Sophie Hannah and Conrad Allen.
