Fisherman’s boat — Red island beach, Banyuwangi, Indonesia

There are so much more of Indonesia than just Bali.

One of Bali neighbor island, Java, is the most populated island in Indonesia. People are living various life in Java, from the riches people in Surabaya, the sophisticated people of Jakarta, to the “kampoeng” people in the villages.

Pulau Merah (Red Island) beach is located in a small fishing village in East Java, just a few kilometers from the famous G-Land. Red Island beach doesn’t have world class waves like G-Land, but it offers tranquility and a simple life for first timer surfers that want to exercise their surfing skills and experience the “real” village life.

As a majority Moslems country, Eid Mubarak holiday is the biggest public holiday in Indonesia. And we know how to make the holiday even bigger! It’s the time to be with our loved ones and spend fun times with them on every holiday destinations we can find within the country and maybe overseas.

But most of the time, we just spend our family fun time on holiday destinations nearby our hometown.

These are photos that I collected from my Eid Mubarak holiday at Pulau Merah Beach in 2017. Have fun enjoying the photos!
